Xinjiang 220 kV WUCaiwan Power Transmission and Transformation Project Started

As an important part of the implementation of the energy strategy of "power transmission from west to East", the 220 kV Wancaiwan substation in Xinjiang, with a total investment of 0.15 billion yuan, has recently started construction.
The 220 kV Wicaiwan substation project, 260 kilometers away from Urumqi, is an important part of the construction of the Zhundong Coal, Electricity and Coal Chemical Industry Belt in Xinjiang. Zhundong Coalfield has identified and predicted a total resource of 374.76 billion tons, which can build a coal production and deep processing base with an annual output of 100 million tons.
At present, the construction of Zhundong coal, electricity and coal chemical industry has entered a critical period. The State Grid Corporation of China plans to invest 2.1 billion billion yuan in the construction of the power grid in Zhundong. In the near future, it will invest 0.968 billion billion yuan to build 6 220 kV substations and related transmission lines. the 220 kv wucai wan power transmission and transformation project will be put into operation in the second half of 2008.
